3 Valley Gap Hotel Chateau Revelstoke BC Canada – Hotel Lobby

This is the check in area of the hotel.  Nothing too fancy, but we were checked in fine.  Check in is at 4:00 pm, but they had our room ready for us at 3:00 pm or so.

The lobby had some chairs to sit on while you wait.  We didn’t go upstairs so I don’t know what’s up there.

There was a Thomas train table for the kids to play with.

3 Valley Gap Hotel Chateau Revelstoke BC Canada – Lake Beach

For us the best part was the hotel’s beach.  The kids could swim all day at the beach, and the adults didn’t need to worry about drinking and driving if we wanted  take break from the kids and have a drink or two during the day.

The water was pretty warm and the beach was mostly sandy.  There were a few short weeds (2″) here and there, but if you don’t like weeds, they were not too long and you can just avoid them.

We brought a few floaty toys for the kids, and our kayak for the beach.

If you don’t have a kayak you can rent them as well as canoes.

3 Valley Gap Hotel Chateau Revelstoke BC Canada – Indoor Garden

An overhead shot of the indoor garden.  There are tables and chairs that you can use to set and have coffee or something to eat.  The hotel said during check in that there is Internet access in the indoor garden, but I never tested it.

Spiral staircase in the indoor garden that takes you up to the second level.

The doors that lead you to the outside from the indoor garden lead you to the outdoor garden and the beach.

There is a stuffed bear in the middle of the room and to the far end of the room is a room with birds.
